On 10/01/10, the Small Business Administration (SBA) announced an interim final rule to establish the Immediate Disaster Assistance Program (IDAP), intended to provide immediate relief to a small business that meets the basic eligibility standards for a disaster loan authorized under section 7(b) of the Small Business Act while the business’ application for a direct disaster loan is pending with SBA. On 9/30/10, the President signed S 3814 (P.L. 111-250), the National Flood Insurance Program Reextension Act of 2010, which extends the program through 9/30/11.
