On 3/18/10, the Senate Judiciary Committee approved S 148, to restore the rule that agreements between manufacturers and retailers, distributors, or wholesalers to set the minimum price below which the manufacturer’s product or service cannot be sold violates the Sherman Act.

On 3/19/10, the Administration for Children and Families, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), announced a request for public comment on a proposed project, the Standard Forms for Provisions of Services in Interstate Child Support Enforcement Cases, which are completed by state agencies administering the Child Support Enforcement Program to transmit child support case information on standard interstate forms when referring cases to other states for processing. On 3/19/10, the United States Election Assistance Commission announced a request for public comment on a Maintenance of Expenditure proposed policy, which would supersede previous advisories and fulfill the Election Assistance Commission’s ongoing responsibility to provide information on the management of federal funds provided under the Help America Vote Act. On 3/19/10, the Federal Election Commission announced the removal of its rule regarding funds received in response to solicitations, as well as the removal of two additional rules regarding the allocation of certain expenses by separate segregated funds and non-connected committees. The United States District Court for the District of Columbia ordered that these rules are vacated, in accordance with a Court of Appeals decision. These removals become effective 4/19/10. FR 13223 .
