On 6/7/10, the Administration for Children and Families, Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), announced a request for public comment on a proposed rulemaking which would revise certain aspects of the final rule “State Parent Locator Service,” and the 9/26/08 final rule “Safeguarding Child Support Information,” which becomes effective 12/30/10. Presidential Action
On 5/28/10, the president issued a proclamation declaring June 2010 “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month,” and calling upon all Americans to observe the month by fighting prejudice and discrimination in their own lives and everywhere it exists. FR 32079 .

On 6/7/10, the Department of Education announced a request for public comment on a proposed revision to a currently approved information collection, the Annual Performance Reporting Forms for National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research Grantees, which is used to facilitate program planning and management, to respond to Education Department general administrative regulations requirements, and to respond to the reporting requirements of the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993. On 6/7/10, the Social Security Administration announced a request for public comment on several information collections, including the Request to Decision Review Board to Vacate the Administrative Law Judge Dismissal of Hearing, and the Authorization to Release Medical Report to Physician, among other things. On 6/7/10, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), announced a request for public comment on a proposed revision to a currently approved information collection, the Request for the Site Inspection, Landowners Authorization/Ingress/Egress Agreement, which collects information required to determine that the infrastructure of a federally declared disaster site supports the installation of a temporary housing unit.
