On 10/5/07, the Agency for International Development posted a notice of a meeting of the Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid (ACVFA) on 10/24/07, 9 am-3 pm. The ACVFA has created working groups corresponding to two objectives of the U.S. foreign assistance framework: humanitarian assistance and investing in people. Legal Services Corporation
On 10/4/07, the Senate began consideration of HR 3093, making appropriations for the Department of Commerce, Justice, Science and Related Agencies for the fiscal year ending 9/30/08. The bill would allocate $377 million for the Legal Services Corporation.
