This program will provide the latest practical and policy-oriented information for defense attorneys, prosecutors, academics and the judiciary. Topics will include: computer security basics-how it all works; substantive criminal law including important recent case law; the Fourth Amendment: search and seizure and other privacy concerns; evidentiary issues; and international considerations regarding computer crimes.
