Federal Agencies Work with States to Implement Fostering Connections

In November 2011, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Education held a “state team” meeting of representatives from child welfare, the court, and education. The meeting, focused on developing plans around foster care and education and implementing the Fostering Connections Act through improved collaboration.
