Implementation of the ABA YLD’s Public Service project They Had A Dream Too is underway around the country. Young lawyer groups in a number of states are inspiring school kids with the THADT curriculum and Emmy-Award winning short film. Some recent projects include:
Successful THADT Programs
Fort Lauderdale , Florida—The T.J. Reddick Bar Association and four local college students implemented They Had a Dream Too at the Broward County’s Juvenile Detention Center. The Detention Center is planning to incorporate THADT in its curriculum.
The T.J. Reddick Bar Association also is planning to implement THADT on Law Day and at schools in the county.
Orlando , Florida—Several ABA YLD attorneys presented THADT at Evans High School during the ABA Midyear Meeting. The students enjoyed the program and were inspired by the film.
Chicago , Illinois—ABA YLD Chair Kelly-Ann Clarke presented THADT to students at Chicago’s Wells Community Academy High School.
San Bernardino , California—Carlos V. Corona from the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office implemented the program at Sierra High School in San Bernardino, California.
