Vision, Application and Result$
LPM is co-sponsoring the 2nd Annual Pacific Legal Technology Conference in Vancouver, BC, November 7, 2003, presented by the Law Society of British Columbia in conjunction with the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, and the Canadian Bar Association (BC Branch). The program features eighteen hours of practical, educational courses in multiple tracks on how lawyers, legal administrators, legal assistants, researchers, and legal IT staff can use legal technology to achieve demonstrable results that impact the bottom line. Attendees can view a mock trial that will show how technology can be applied at all points during a trial - from the Opening, to Direct and Cross-Examination, to the Jury Summation. The mock trial will take place before a British Columbia Supreme Court judge and a jury composed of law students, who will offer their own insights on what worked and didn't work following the rendering of the verdict. For registration information and program details visit the conference website at www.pacficlegaltech.com.
