Annual Meeting Marks End of a Successful Year for LPM

The Law Practice Management Section (LPM) had a significant presence at the ABA Annual Meeting in San Francisco - exhibiting at the ABA Expo, presenting popular CLE sessions, and sponsoring a successful fundraiser for The Breast Cancer Fund. Highlights of the San Francisco meeting included the LPM Gathering Reception, where the Honorary Council conferred the prestigious Sam Smith Award on Richard C. "Dick" Reed, and the Women Rainmakers Reception, which raised nearly $13,000 for The Breast Cancer Fund, the only non-profit organization in the United States dedicated to rooting out the environmental causes of breast cancer. How to Draft Bills Clients Rush to Pay, Second Edition
by J. Harris Morgan and Jay G Foonberg

J. Harris Morgan and Jay Foonberg have joined forces to write this newly revised and expanded second edition of an ABA classic bestseller, How to Draft Bills Clients Rush to Pay. Morgan and Foonberg have more than 100 years of combined experience as real lawyers solving common problems confronting practicing lawyers, and they share their skills and insights on client billing in this most recent release from LPM Publishing. The authors provide a rational and workable approach to creating fee agreements and bills that satisfy clients and motivate them to pay. Comparisons and samples of fee agreements and invoices are integrated throughout the text, along with a clear explanation of which methods work best - and why.
