Impact of Resolutions: Violence Against Women Act

At the 2010 Midyear Meeting, the ABA House of Delegates passed Resolution 115, which urged Congress to re-authorize and fully fund the Violence Against Women Act to promote access to justice and safety for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. ABA policy on VAWA has ensured the ABA's leadership and resources contribute to the national legal response to domestic violence.
