Video highlights: More needs to be done to curb gun violence, urges ABA president

James Silkenat, president of the American Bar Association, says that lawyers have a responsibility to ensure that laws and policies are in place to curb gun violence, even though most gun owners are responsible and law abiding.

Silkenat spoke on the topic of gun violence March 6 during "Taking Aim at Gun Violence: The Myth and Meaning of the Second Amendment," a discussion at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, co-sponsored by the American Bar Association Standing Committee on Gun Violence and the Office of the Mayor of Philadelphia.
