New ABA book helps lawyers use Worldox to organize electronic documents

By John Glynn

CHICAGO, Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 — As digital materials gradually replace paper and filing cabinets, law offices are struggling to organize the deluge of electronic documents. A new American Bar Association book will show lawyers how to easily organize emails, PDFs, presentations and more using Worldox software.

With “Worldox in One Hour for Lawyers,” veteran law firm technology consultant John Heckman reveals what Worldox will do for law firms — and how its features can be customized to meet the specific needs of each practice. In just one hour, readers will learn to:

  • Save and search for documents
  • Integrate Worldox with email
  • Retain old or legacy documents
  • Handle legal holds, document comparison, personnel changes and more

Heckman is the principal of Heckman Consulting, based in Old Lyme, Conn. His clients range from solo practitioners to AmLaw 100 firms. He specializes in document management issues, Worldox, TimeMatters, Amicus Attorney and PCLaw.
