ABA’s Judicial Clerkship Program Aims to Expand Diversity in the Profession

By Jeffrey Jenkins

The Judicial Clerkship Program is underway at the ABA Midyear Meeting in Dallas.

A joint effort of the ABA Council on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Educational Pipeline and the ABA Judicial Division, the program is designed to bring judges and minority law students together through “structured networking” and small group team building exercises. The goal of the effort is to expand career opportunities for diverse students in the legal profession.
