ABA President Bellows urges Florida Gov. Scott to veto H.B. 7083, the Timely Justice Act

WASHINGTON, D.C., May 16, 2013 — American Bar Association President Laurel G. Bellows has written a letter to Florida Gov. Rick Scott that asks him to veto H.B. 7083, the Timely Justice Act. The act, which addresses death penalty cases, is pending action by the governor. Bellows’ letter can be found here.
