To recognize the volunteer efforts of lawyers and the significance of this year’s vote, the American Bar Association is sharing the election-related observations of its members through its ABA Election Watch project.
The ABA is inviting its nearly 400,000 members to serve as the association’s eyes and ears during the election process. Lawyers’ observations leading up to the election and at the polls are being compiled on the ABA Election Watch webpage and tweeted to a wider audience through @ABAEsq. Problems with election procedures identified by members will be sent to the ABA Standing Committee on Election Lawfor follow-up.
ABA members interested in participating can e-mail their observations and concerns to ABAVotes@americanbar.org, with member number and contact information.
For questions and more information on the ABA Election Watch project, contact the ABA Communications & Media Relations Division.
