If you have passed the bar and are licensed as a U.S. attorney, we welcome you to
join the ABA as a Lawyer member.
Law Students
If you are currently enrolled in an ABA-approved U.S. law school, you may
join the ABA as a Student.
Student Associate
Students enrolled in higher-education studies other than ABA-accredited JD programs may
join the ABA as a Student Associate.
Associate
If you wish to join the ABA but are not a student or licensed U.S. attorney, you may
join the ABA as an Associate.
