About the Program

If you want to learn about how to handle a medical malpractice case or have some experience and want to learn how to get to the next level, then this teleconference is for you.  A panel of experienced attorneys from the plaintiff side, defense side and in-house for a provider will discuss medical malpractice cases from start to finish, including:

  • How to assess a case when it comes in the door;
  • Communicating with physicians;
  • How to retain an expert witness and considerations to keep in mind;
  • Addressing discovery issues from obtaining medical records to preparing witnesses;
  • Knowing when to mediate or settle a case; and
  • Bring a case to trial, including how to connect with a jury.regulations and guidelines.
