CLE PROGRAM: Help Recover: Legal Issues in Disasters

After a natural disaster strikes, the recovery process is not complete without legal assistance. Depending on where a disaster hits and what kind displaces survivors, those affected are impacted by a variety of different legal issues. This program looks at different legal issues posed in areas such as southern California, the Gulf Coast, and the densely populated North Atlantic, with disasters such as wildfires, earthquakes, hurricanes, and more. Legal topics include FEMA benefits and assistance, landlord/tenant issues, insurance claims, etc. Learn how to assist and advise others in this time of need.
