Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated Tax Accountant to join our Corporate Tax Department in Richmond, VA.

Specific responsibilities include:

Preparing tax provisions.
Reconciling tax accounts and preparing variance analyses.
Preparing federal and state income tax returns, estimated tax calculations and payments.
Preparing and providing information requested for internal and external audits of financial statements, internal controls, and tax returns.
Assist other team members or departments with special projects as requested.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

2+ years of income tax experience required.
Big Four experience is preferred.
Tax accounting (FAS109/ASC 740) experience is preferred.
CPA preferred.
Experience using Microsoft Office products, Power Tax, CORPTAX, and SAP is preferred.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently.
Effective analytical and problem solving skills.

Certifications: CPA preferred

Education:

Strongly Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Tax
