April 10, 2001 Conclusion The temporary regulations continue the constructive process to provide administrable guidance with respect to section 4958 and provide welcome clarification. We would welcome the opportunity to meet with appropriate representatives of the Service and Treasury to discuss these suggestions in person and to testify at any public hearings with respect to the regulations.
