Homeless Courts Initiative

The ABA Commission on Homelessness & Poverty has had a hand in creating or enhancing over 50 Homeless Courts across the nation. Since 2001 when the ABA Commission first began its initiative to foster the replication of homeless courts, it has provided technical assistance to more than 100 communities across the nation and abroad (Australia, Canada and Mexico).  The Commission will continue to provide technical assistance and educational resources to communities via conference call and in-person trainings, participation in regional and national conferences, and by developing new educational resources and reports.
