Legal professionals and civic organizations throughout the country are busy coordinating with schools and community centers to conduct programs that inform youth about the importance of our courts. Additionally public and media events, spearheaded by state bar association leaders, are planned for May 1, 2012 around the nation to address the severity of court under funding and its effects on Americans’ everyday life.
American Bar Association President, Wm. T. (Bill) Robinson, III and National Law Day 2012 Chair, Mark Agrast encourage you to get involved this Law Day. Tell us about the activities you have planned for Law Day and about your public/media event on May 1, and it will be highlighted on the Law Day website at www.lawday.org. Please keep responses to a maximum of 250 words.
Don’t forget the Law Day 2012 Planning Guide has a wealth of resources and products to help your Law Day program be a success.
