Dear Mr. Simmons:
The Massillon Urban League Inc., stands in agreement with The Consumer Alliance and their concept of Multidisciplinary practices being good for consumers and businesses.
We are comprised of 30 to 35,000 persons in Massillon, however out of that populace many are senior citizens and economically disadvantaged individuals who would certainly profit from having "one stop shopping" available. With this service available the clients we serve will be able to receive wholistic services.
This is a far overdue concept in having legal representation available to all persons. In the past the idea of this sort of assistance was out of sight and mind. However, people need to have a choice and equal access on par with all citizens. We believe that the concept expressed by The Consumer Alliance speaks to the need analyses for our area.
The Massillon Urban League, and agency that has maintained its autonomy in this area for 63 years, along with the membership and sponsors sincerely hope you would support the implemental efforts in affording this service to our community.
