Dear Mr. Simmons:
On behalf of the Columbus Urban League, Inc., I would like to express our support for the consideration of Multi-Disciplinary Practices (MDPs) to ensure the need of advocacy in legal and financial guidance to those in need.
Our mission is to support the full participation of African Americans and disadvantaged citizens in the economic and social fabric of our society. Dedicated to help change the lives through our services for more than 80 years, we have long recognized the barriers faced by low-income people and people of color to receive adequate legal representation.
Having multidisciplinary teams within the legal system is an added plus for our customers. We see this service as one that would be beneficial to all. Additionally, we understand that making as many services as possible available under "one roof" is important to the successful resolution of the unique issues faced by our customers.
We applause and commend The Consumers Alliance and its' mission. We offer our assistance to them in their efforts to make a dream into a reality.
