Sherwin P. Simmons, Chairman
Commission on Multidisciplinary Practice
Center for Professional Responsibility
American Bar Association
541 North Fairbanks Court
Chicago, IL 60611-3314

Dear Chairman Simmons:

The Dayton Branch of the NAACP, located in southwestern Ohio, is one of the major chapters in the region.  We encourage the American Bar Association to seriously consider the issue of multidisciplinary practice.   This "one stop shopping" model has the potential to address the needs of those who are underrepresented and create the vehicle necessary for small entrepreneurs to survive.

As the smaller entrepreneur develops and grows, it is expedient to be able to conduct business in concert with bankers, accountants, insurance planners etc. while providing services of these budding enterprises and also those individuals in need and distress.

We strongly urge the American Bar Association to seriously study the possibilities of attorneys practicing law with a variety of professionals.  Thank You.

Sincerely,
Jessie O. Gooding, President
Dayton Branch NAACP
