ABA Access to Justice Commission Expansion Project


With funding from the Public Welfare Foundation, the Bauman Foundation, and the Kresge Foundation, the ABA Access to Justice Commission Expansion Project is making grants to strengthen the Access to Justice Commission movement nationally by facilitating development of new Access to Justice Commissions and enabling existing Access to Justice Commissions to develop and test innovative new projects.

Applications are currently being sought for 2013 grants. Grants are likely to be in the $8,000 to $20,000 range. It is unlikely that any state/jurisdiction will be awarded more than one grant during the current cycle (2012-2013).

2013 Innovation Grants. To enable existing Access to Justice Commissions to develop and test innovative new projects and expand the scope of their activities. Application date: May 1, 2013. Grants will be made on or around June 1, 2013.
