Message From Your Circuit Governor

My name is Joshua S. Goodrich, a current 1L part time at the Thomas Jefferson School of law and I have recently returned from four days of intensive training preparing me to serve as your newly elected 9th Circuit Governor. I am extremely excited to serve as your Circuit’s Governor for 2011-2012 and cannot wait to start working for you.

I look forwarding to hearing your comments and suggestions about how I can help the ABA work for you. As this is your circuit, and your voice representing your interest to the Division's National Board, your opinions and suggestions will be invaluable to the success of the 9th Circuit in the months ahead.

At the Board of Governors Meeting that I attended, one of the key issue on the table is the growing concern over student debit, and the current job market. Many ideas are developing to see what can be done to work with the ABA about these matters. I would like to hear your thoughts and prospective on these matter or any other matters affecting law students.

I want to not only open the lines of communication with as many of you as possible, but to work hard to ensure those lines stay open and are at your disposal.  I invite you to contact me with your questions, concerns, suggestions and ideas.

Sincerely,

Joshua Goodrich
9th Circuit Governor
