Immediately preceding the XIX International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2012), the Committee held its biannual HIV/AIDS Law and Practice Conference, which also featured the inaugural Alexander D. Forger Awards for Sustained Excellence in HIV Legal Services and Advocacy. The Awards marked the Committee's 25thanniversary.
The Alexander D. Forger Awards and Luncheon
On July 21, 2012, the Committee presented the inaugural Alexander D. Forger Awards for Sustained Excellence in HIV Legal Services and Advocacy to Mr. Forger and 10 lawyers and organizations at a luncheon in their honor.
