FamLawStudents

When you join the Section, you can sign up for FamLawStudents, our e-mail discussion forum designed especially for students to share ideas, discuss topics of interest, and receive announcements for students only.

It's easy to opt-in to the list. Just log in to the ABA website with your member ID and password and then click on the link in the "Lists" box on your personalized page. Once you're there, you'll find a link for other lists you may join; FamLawStudents should be among them.

Howard C. Schwab Memorial Essay Contest

The Section of Family Law holds the Howard C. Schwab Memorial Essay Contest annually to stimulate curiosity and investigation into the field of family law. All law students are encouraged to enter.
