General Information
The Legal Expert Author Pool (LEAP) is a new complimentary service offered by the ABA Center for Racial & Ethnic Diversity and ABA Publishing. LEAP establishes and maintains a pool of diverse authors who have expertise in a wide range of legal topics. The LEAP project facilitates connections between these authors who have a willingness to write for periodicals and the publishing entities that have committed to the LEAP project.
For individual lawyers LEAP provides an easy, efficient way to introduce yourself and your practice expertise to publishers and editorial boards. It can give you access and networking opportunities to national leaders in your area of practice, and help you build your portfolio of published articles. Individual lawyers interested in receiving more information on the LEAP project, complete the short LEAP Individual Participant Form.
Publishing entities that sign-up for the LEAP service will have access to an ever-growing database of seasoned authors and fresh, new writers. Participating entities will also have the responsibility to maximize their use of LEAP authors, in accordance with the respective entity’s publishing policies and guidelines.
