The ABA Dispute Resolution Section in coordination with UNCITRAL Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific, the Association of Indian Mediators, CPR Institute, the Singapore International Mediation Centre, and several respected colleagues from throughout the Asia Pacific region is hosting an Asia-Pacific International Mediation Summit in New Delhi, India February 12-15, 2015.
This conference will engage a range of experienced dispute resolution practitioners, academics, judges, attorneys, mediation and arbitration professional organizations, and users such as international corporate representatives and government entities.
We anticipate the Summit will also involve international businesses seeking opportunities abroad, trainers and academicians from different cultural, organizational and professional backgrounds. Attendees will enhance their own cultural fluency, build on their knowledge and expertise, and proactively support both systems design and the development and sustainability of dispute resolution programs in the Asia-Pacific region.
Through a series of plenary sessions, smaller group panel sessions, as well as working groups, the Summit will support capacity building, advance collaborations, build networks, and promote cross-cultural awareness and understanding of mediation and dispute resolution processes throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
