Blueprints for Better Access
The Blueprints Project is an online technical assistance resource that helps bar associations, courts and law schools design and implement programs that enable people of modest means to obtain affordable legal services. The ABA Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services has identified successful models and encourages legal institutions to use the information provided here to adopt, adapt, replicate and enhance these programs to help meet the needs of those with legal problems.
Each blueprint provides an explanation of the program, the benefits the program provides, issues to consider in the replication of the model and contact information with those who have developed and advanced the models in their jurisdictions.
Blueprint models are selected from the nominees of the ABA Louis M. Brown Award for Access , sponsored by the Standing Committee on the Delivery of Legal Services.
