The Standing Committee on Amicus Curiae Briefs reviews all amicus curiae briefs drafted for filing in the name of the ABA. The seven-member committee, plus one special advisor, recommends to the Board of Governors whether a proposed brief fairly represents ABA policy and is of high professional quality.
