Training and Technical Assistance
The project provides on and off site training and technical assistance to:
- teach practicing attorneys how to improve their representation including providing practice tools and resource information;
- help jurisdictions implement Standards of Practice for Parents’ Attorneys;
- educate courts and legislators about the importance of improving parents’ representation; and
- find ways to include parents and parents’ attorneys in committees and other decision-making coalitions.
This Sample Agenda provides an example of a day-long parents’ attorney training.
