1. Attend any CLE sessions in the Basic or Intermediate Tracks, based on your interests or needs. Topics include career advancement, regulation, crowdfunding, and opinions (view the full agenda, with descriptions).

2. Mix and mingle with other attendees over breakfast before the substantive programming begins, and enjoy the Institute Luncheon program titled, “How Not to E-Fail: Practical Solutions to Navigating Electronic Communications.” Both are included in your $225 registration fee.

3. Enjoy insight from high-profile speakers. Previous Institute speakers have included Harry Hutchinson, Vice-President and Head of Development for Bad Boy Entertainment, and David Lat, Founder of “Above the Law.”

4. Stay at The Ritz-Carlton on the cheap. Discounted accommodations are available in the group block at both the The Ritz-Carlton and the JW Marriott.

5. Don’t miss any work – the Institute is a concentrated day of programming that takes place on Saturday, April 12. Sessions end at 5:00 p.m. so you can head to In-N-Out Burger, watch The Book of Mormon, or catch the Los Angeles Kings v. Anaheim Ducks game with your new network of young business attorneys.

6. Make a weekend of it! Young lawyers may attend the full Business Law Section Spring Meeting and the Business Law Institute for only $475 ($575 after February 7). Institute-only registration is $225. The full Spring Meeting includes over 65 CLE programs, dozens of social events (most are free!), and numerous opportunities to connect and network with high-profile attorneys in your field.

7. Still not convinced? The Spring Meeting and Business Law Institute are a low cost way to earn CLE credit, so many attendees can secure travel and registration funding from their employers. You’ll never be too far from the office, since the Meeting has free wi-fi and a 24/hour Internet Café.
