Competition is intense, and often revolves around an increasingly global race to acquire and assert IP rights. This conference focused on how these dynamics affect corporate and legal strategies, responses by antitrust enforcers, and the roles of counsel and other professionals.

The year 2011 will mark the 100th anniversary of the Supreme Court's landmark decision in Standard Oil Co. of New Jersey v. United States. On this occasion, the Section will host a two-day conference to examine key antitrust and consumer protection issues impacting the energy industry.
