Virus Symptoms
Since many viruses do not make themselves known immediately, how do you know if you have a virus? Watch out for these "flu-like symptoms" that can alert you to the possibility that you might have been infected with a virus:
1. Changes in file sizes, especially in .com and .exe files.
2. Unexplained changes in available RAM for running programs.
3. Unusual behaviors, such as not being able to load a program, taking longer to reboot, or seeing unusual messages flash across the screen.
