Announcing the Nursing and Allied Health Issues Task Force

I’m pleased to announce the Section’s Governing Council has approved the creation of the Nursing and Allied Health Issues Task Force. This group will focus on matters of interest to members who represent nurses, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, paramedics and related business entities such as home health agencies and ambulance services, with a focus on issues relating to administrative and regulatory actions related to licensing, fraud and abuse, insurance and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, medical malpractice and insurance, credentialing, HIPAA, etc. The Task Force will ensure that its activities are coordinated with the other Interest Groups and Task Forces that also address these matters of interest.

I’m also pleased to announce that the following members of the section have agreed to join me in leading the Task Force as Vice-Chairs:

We would like to invite any Health Law Section member to join the Nursing and Allied Health Issues Task Force. Membership in the task force is free with your membership.
