2005 Physician Legal Issues Conference

The ABA Health Law Section will continue its annual Conference on Physician-Legal Issues on Friday, June 17, 2005 with a program designed to discuss in substantial detail many of the major issues that are facing physicians and physicians’ lawyers today. The speakers will address the hot topics of payments for quality performance, medical staff difficulties for hospitals and other facilities, the “new” forms of retail medicine, fraud and abuse developments for physicians, and the future of physician-owned hospitals. Additionally, a luncheon speaker will address the general state of the physician/medical industry.

In a one-day “live” conference, attendees can hear experts in each of these areas of physician law give up-to-date, informed reviews of the problems facing physicians and physician lawyers. This conference is designed to offer a maximum amount of continuing legal education possible in a one-day seminar.
