Who should attend the Section of International Law 2012 Fall Meeting?
As the premier gathering of international experts worldwide, the International Law Fall Meeting has sessions that would appeal to a broad range of audiences including:

What does my registration fee include?
Fees are ALL INCLUSIVE for the 2012 Fall Meeting. Admission includes all CLE programs and committee meetings (dinners excluded), and all Networking Breaks & Receptions; registration does not include the daily lunches which are a separate ticketed fee ($75 each). Law students are excluded from all-inclusive pricing and may purchase tickets to evening receptions a la carte.

Is there a group discount available?
Group discounts are available for multiple registrations from the same law firms and/or corporate legal departments submitted prior to September 28, 2012. You will receive 50% off the highest registration fee for each additional registrant after the fourth full paying registrant, as long as all register at the same time.

Can I register for the meeting onsite?
Yes, you may register onsite at the meeting. We strongly encourage you to register in advance via the Section of International Law Fall Meeting website. By registering early, you will have a speedier check-in when you arrive at the meeting.

Will I receive a refund if I have to cancel my registration?
Refunds are available based on when you cancel. If you cancel on or before September 28, 2012, you will be refunded your registration fee, less a $100 administrative fee to cover the cost of processing. No refunds will be available for cancellations made after September 28, 2012 or for no-shows. Formal written requests for refunds may be submitted via email to Michelle Mattingly at Michelle.Mattingly@americanbar.org.

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?
For registrations made on-line, confirmation of registration will be sent via email immediately.

For registrations made via fax or mail, please allow one week for processing; confirmation of registration will be sent via email immediately upon processing.

For registrations made with check payment via mail, please allow two weeks for processing; confirmation of registration will be sent via email immediately upon processing.

Will I receive a receipt for my registration?
Yes. You will receive a registration confirmation via email, which includes your receipt.

I have registered for the meeting but would like to make changes to my name on my badge. How do I do this?
If you would like to change the information on your badge, you may email Michelle Mattingly at Michelle.Mattingly@americanbar.org prior to September 28^th, or you may have the badge amended onsite at the meeting registration desk.

Which hotel has a room block for this meeting? What are the rates?
The host hotel for the 2012 Fall Meeting is the Fontainebleau Miami Beach. The room block at the hotel is completely sold out.

An alternative room block is available at the Grand Beach Hotel at the special nightly rate of $229 for a bay view and $249 for an ocean view plus applicable daily tax per room for occupancy. The number of rooms available at this special rate is limited, so early booking is recommended.

Will wifi be available in the hotel?
There is free wired/wireless internet in guest rooms and the registration hall.

I am a student and would like to share a hotel room with another student to reduce costs. Any suggestions on how to arrange this?
The Section of International Law does not have the ability to coordinate housing for students. We suggest you network at your school and through other schools to find other students with whom to share housing.

What is the dress code for the Fall Meeting?
For the 2012 Fall Meeting, business casual and business attire are both appropriate.

Can I receive CLE credit for attending the International Law Fall Meeting?
The Section of International Law will provide both General and Ethics CLE Credit at the 2012 Fall Meeting.

CLE forms will be in the back of each CLE program at the Fall Meeting. For questions while at the meeting, please visit the CLE counter next to the Registration counter.
