Judge Robert H. Henry addressing a class of young lawyer.s
August 2009
In May 2009, Judge Robert H. Henry of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, chairman of the Middle East and North Africa Division Council, visited Egypt to observe ABA Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) programming. Judge Henry met with key program partners and members of the Egyptian legal community. He also addressed a class of young lawyers attending a continuing legal education training. Discussions addressed the role of lawyers in society and the American judicial system. The training was sponsored by ABA ROLI and the Cairo Regional Center for International Commercial Arbitration.
By discussing the practicalities of international law with Judge Henry, participants built practical legal skills and boosted their self confidence through exposure to new areas of the practice of law.
